1. Acceptance of Terms

2. Platform Role, Crowdfunding & Donations
Saint Cats Church operates as an online crowdfunding and community platform dedicated to:
supporting cats in need of veterinary treatment
preserving the memory of cats through memorial pages
fostering a compassionate and respectful global community
The Platform enables:
crowdfunding campaigns for veterinary treatment of cats, subject to mandatory medical verification
voluntary charitable donations to support the operation and development of the Platform
hosting memorial pages, user stories, photographs, and community content
2.1 Crowdfunding for Veterinary Treatment
Fundraising campaigns for veterinary treatment are permitted only if the campaign organizer provides accurate, complete, and truthful information, including:
official veterinary medical records or diagnoses
treatment plans, cost estimates, or invoices issued by licensed veterinary clinics
a clear and honest description of the cat’s condition and the purpose of the fundraiser
Saint Cats Church reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:
review and verify submitted documentation
request additional evidence or clarification
suspend, reject, limit visibility of, or permanently remove campaigns that fail to meet verification or transparency standards
Verification does not constitute endorsement, approval, or medical validation.

2.2 Platform Limitation of Responsibility
Notwithstanding any verification efforts:
Saint Cats Church does not guarantee medical outcomes, recovery, quality of care, or survival
the Platform does not provide veterinary, medical, or diagnostic services
the Platform does not control, supervise, or assume responsibility for how funds are used by campaign organizers
donors contribute voluntarily, independently, and entirely at their own discretion and risk
All medical decisions remain solely between pet owners and licensed veterinary professionals.

2.3 Charitable Donations to Support the Platform
Users may make voluntary charitable donations to support:
platform maintenance and development
moderation, verification, and safety processes
operational, hosting, and technical costs
Such donations:
do not constitute payment for services
do not grant ownership, voting rights, or special privileges
are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law
do not create any contractual obligation or entitlement

2.4 Financial Processing Disclaimer
Where applicable:
payments may be processed by independent third-party payment providers
Saint Cats Church is not a bank, financial institution, payment processor, or escrow service
all financial transactions are governed by the terms and policies of the respective payment providers
Saint Cats Church bears no responsibility for payment processing errors, delays, chargebacks, or provider actions.

3. Eligibility & User Representations
By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that:
you are at least 18 years old, or have lawful parental/guardian consent
you have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
all information you provide is accurate, truthful, and not misleading
You are solely responsible for all activity conducted through your account.

4. User-Generated Content & License Grant
Users may submit text, images, videos, and other materials (“User Content”).
By submitting User Content, you grant Saint Cats Church a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and promote such content solely in connection with operating and improving the Platform.
You represent that:
you own or lawfully control all rights to the content
the content does not infringe intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights
the content is lawful and non-deceptive

5. Community Standards & Prohibited Content
The following is strictly prohibited:
hate speech, harassment, bullying, or threats
exploitation of grief or emotional distress
fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive fundraising
graphic or disturbing content without clear warnings
political, religious, or ideological disputes
unauthorized advertising or commercial use
Violation may result in immediate removal or account termination.

6. Moderation, Safe Harbor & DSA Compliance
Saint Cats Church:
does not pre-screen all User Content
acts as a neutral intermediary under the EU Digital Services Act (DSA) and applicable US safe-harbor laws
We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to moderate or remove content at any time.
Moderation decisions are final.

7. No Professional Advice Disclaimer
All content on the Platform is provided for informational and emotional support purposes only.
Nothing on the Platform constitutes:
veterinary or medical advice
legal, financial, or tax advice
mental health counseling
Always consult licensed professionals.

8. Intellectual Property & DMCA (US)
All Platform content, excluding User Content, is the intellectual property of Saint Cats Church.
US copyright claims are handled under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
Repeat infringers may have their accounts terminated.

9. Privacy, GDPR & Data Protection (EU)
Personal data is processed in accordance with:

applicable US privacy laws (including CCPA/CPRA where relevant)
Users have rights to access, correction, erasure, restriction, and portability of their data.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
EU Users
Governed by the laws of the EU member state where the Platform operator is established, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections.
US Users
Governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, excluding conflict-of-law rules.

14. Modifications & Termination
Saint Cats Church may modify these Terms at any time.
Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
Access may be suspended or terminated without prior notice.
